The Securities Department of the Bank of
Jerusalem has been active in the capital market since March 1, 2002. The seat
on the Stock Exchange and the securities activities have been transferred to
the Bank of Jerusalem from the bank’s subsidiary, Jerusalem Capital Markets.
Jerusalem
Capital Markets is a fully owned subsidiary of the Bank. In the past, it
handled all the Bank of Jerusalem’s brokerage and portfolio management
activities. The company is now active in investment portfolio management and
management of employee option plans.
The
wealth of experience and goodwill that Jerusalem Capital Markets had amassed
in its 30 years of activity in the capital market formed the basis on which
the Securities Department was established. The Department is an integral part
of the activities of the Bank of Jerusalem, a commercial bank that focuses on
real estate, the capital market, savings, and international banking.
Clients of the Securities Department include
institutions, public corporations, and private clients in Israel and abroad.
